Medjugorje Mir is a communication and information application. Through it, messages of the Mother of God are sent to the seers, news and information from Medjugorje - a small town in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Revelation lasts from 1981 to today.
In the application settings you can choose the type of information you want to receive. They are divided into thematic sections. These are, for example, messages from every 25th day of the month, transmitted by the Mother of God to the world through Mariya Pavlocić-Lunetti, messages from the 2nd day of each month for Miriana, information and news about everyday events in Medjugorje and around the world, about meetings, retreats and interesting initiatives.
Through applications, you can also reply to messages and send your comments to the publication, just like on Facebook. Communication is therefore two-way. This is the first application in the world, fulfilling the communication and information task, related to Medjugorje. The application will be expanded and updates will be available from time to time.
The application has been prepared and launched by the Divine Mercy Foundation. In addition, for the purposes of communication and information, the portal www.medjugorje.pl was closely linked to the application.
In 1981, when the apparitions of the Mother of God began, the life of the parish changed. Our Lady, apart from six visionaries, chose the entire parish and pilgrims as our co-workers. This was particularly evident in the message in which she said: "I chose this parish in a special way and I want to lead it" (March 1, 1984).
June 24, 1981, around 18 six young people - Ivanka Ivanković, Mirjana Dragićević, Vicka Ivanković, Ivan Dragićević, Jakov Čolo, Marija Pavlović - saw on the hill Crnica, a few hundred meters above the place called Podbrdo, a young woman with a child in her arms, who gave them a sign to they approached her. But surprised and scared, they did not come to her.
The next day, June 25, 1981, at the same time, four of them: Ivanka Ivanković, Mirjana Dragićević, Vicek Ivanković and Ivan Dragićević, felt strong attraction to go to the place where the day before they had seen her whom they recognized as Our Lady. Marija Pavlović and Jakov Čolo joined them.
On the third day of the apparitions, on June 26, 1981, the Mother of God called to the room with the words: "Peace, peace, peace - and only peace! Peace must prevail between God and man, but also between people! »People interested in the apparitions and the call of the Mother of God - first from the parish, then from other places and other parts of the world - began to gather and pray on the hill and later in the church.
From the beginning of the apparitions, the persecution of visionaries, their parents, families, parishioners, local priests and even pilgrims began. The visionaries were picked up for police interrogations and psychiatric examinations, but they were always confirmed to be healthy. The same was confirmed by studies carried out at a later date.
The former Medjugorje priest, Father Jozo Zovko OFM, was captured and yet innocent - one month and a half after the first apparition - sentenced by a communist court to three and a half years in prison.
Thanks to the apparitions of the Mother of God, the usual rural parish of Medjugorje has been transformed into a place where crowds of pilgrims from all over the world gather and thus become one of the world's largest prayer centers comparable to Lourdes and Fatima. Countless testimonies of pilgrims say that they have found faith and peace here.
According to the unanimous testimony of the visionaries, Our Lady gives them messages to communicate them to the parish and the world. They are: PEACE, FAITH AND CONVERSION, PRAYER AND POST. Above all, the parishioners themselves and pilgrims are to become witnesses of her apparitions and messages, so that later together with the visionaries they could join in carrying out the plan for the conversion of the world and reconciliation with God.
